Energy

Energy is the fundamental pacing resource in Space Idol. Every quest and mission costs energy to start, and you have a limited supply that refills over time.

How Energy Works

  • You have a maximum energy cap that increases as you level up.
  • Energy refills passively over time, even while you’re offline.
  • The refill rate is calibrated so that you regain a full session’s worth of energy between play sessions (roughly every 4–6 hours).
  • When you log in, any energy that accumulated while you were away is waiting for you.

In the prologue, energy represents your personal stamina — how many tasks you can handle in a shift. In the tycoon phase, it represents your agency’s operational capacity — fuel, power, logistics bandwidth.

Managing Energy Wisely

  • Prioritize main quests for the best XP and rare drop chances. Quick quests are good filler but shouldn’t be your main energy sink.
  • Don’t let energy cap out. If your energy bar is full, you’re wasting passive regeneration. Try to spend some energy before logging off.
  • Replay strategically. Chasing 3-star ratings on already-completed quests costs energy. Only replay when the potential blueprint or commendation drop is worth it.
  • Plan around idle timers. A 2-hour main quest started before bed costs the same energy as one started mid-session, but you’ll have full energy again by morning.

Energy Refills

If you run out of energy and want to keep playing, you can purchase an Energy Refill from the shop using Ions (premium currency). This instantly restores your energy to maximum. Use these during productive streaks where you’re earning good rewards, not just to grind.
