Progression Guide

This page maps the full player journey, from your first task to running a multi-service space empire.

Week 1: The Prologue

Days 1–2 (Levels 1–5)

Goal: Learn the basics and sample everything.

  • Complete introductory tasks across all categories.
  • All five affinities grow to roughly 20–30.
  • Meet your first NPCs and start building relationships.
  • Earn your first credits and make your first spending decisions.
  • Energy feels nearly unlimited — level-ups refill it, and you level fast.
  • Milestone: Level 5 unlocks harder task tiers.

Days 2–4 (Levels 6–15)

Goal: Develop a specialty.

  • Tasks are now filtered by your chosen path. Your choices start to matter.
  • Your dominant affinities pull ahead to 40–60.
  • First blueprint drops appear (3-star core tasks).
  • Side tasks become available — quick ones for grinding, special ones for high-risk rewards.
  • Invest in training and equipment that support your emerging specialty.
  • Experiment with the Bold effort level on tasks where your affinities are strong.
  • Milestone: Around level 10, your career direction becomes visible.

Days 5–7 (Levels 16–20)

Goal: Solidify your identity and prepare for transition.

  • Top affinities reach 60–80. The gap between strong and weak affinities widens.
  • Rare blueprint drops become possible on 3-star core tasks.
  • Earn skill tokens from milestone tasks. Choose skills that match your trajectory.
  • Build NPC relationships — these become your hiring pool.
  • Save credits. Everything in your personal wallet becomes agency seed capital.
  • Milestone: Level 20 — career reveal and archetype assignment.

The Transition (Level 20)

At level 20, several things happen at once:

  1. Archetype reveal. Your two strongest affinities determine your archetype (Engineer, Pilot, Scientist, or Manager).
  2. Agency founding. You start your own space agency with a name of your choosing.
  3. Wallet split. Personal savings become seed funding in your new agency account.
  4. First service. Your archetype and blueprint collection determine which service you launch first.
  5. Tasks → Missions. The task board is replaced by the mission board — now you dispatch crew instead of being crew.

The Tycoon Phase (Level 20+)

Early Tycoon (Levels 20–30)

Goal: Establish a profitable first service.

  • Run missions through your first service to generate revenue.
  • Accept entry-level contracts from NPC clients.
  • Hire your first crew members from NPCs you befriended in the prologue.
  • Learn the mission system (crew assignment, dispatch timers, resource management, deadlines).
  • Accumulate blueprints for your second service.

Mid Tycoon (Levels 30–50)

Goal: Diversify and grow.

  • Launch a second service using accumulated blueprints and credits.
  • Pursue higher-tier contracts for better revenue multipliers.
  • Level up crew through mission experience.
  • Invest in growing weaker affinities to unlock more service types.
  • Acquire tycoon-phase skills (contract gates, crew training boosts).

Late Tycoon (Level 50+)

Goal: Build an interplanetary empire.

  • Multiple active services generating diverse revenue streams.
  • Premium contracts requiring specialized crew and high affinity scores.
  • Deep NPC network providing top-tier crew and exclusive opportunities.
  • Pursuing mastery-level affinities (80–100) for the most demanding content.
  • Working toward the rarest services (Deep Space Exploration, Asteroid Mining).
