Space Idol is a space agency tycoon and idle game for iOS and Android. You start as a rookie recruit at Novic Space, master skills, forge alliances with NPCs, and eventually break away to found and grow your own interplanetary agency.

Is Space Idol free to play?

Yes! Space Idol is free to download and play. The game offers optional in-app purchases (Ions) for cosmetic items and time-saving boosts, but everything can be earned through gameplay.

When does Space Idol launch?

How do affinities work?

Affinities are the connective tissue of Space Idol. There are five affinity tracks that influence your relationships with NPCs, which quests you excel at, and how your agency develops. During the Employee phase, affinities reflect personal competence. In the Tycoon phase, they shape your agency’s identity — affecting crew recruitment, contract qualification, and training efficiency.

Is Space Idol an online-only game?

Space Idol requires an internet connection for features like leaderboards, contracts, and syncing progress across devices. Core gameplay elements like quests and agency management will have limited offline support.
